Leah and the Leo Hat!

This last month my brother came over for dinner when my parents were out of town. Soon after he left Leah discovered that Jordan had left his leo hat. Leah thought that she was so funny. She kept taking the hat on and off and then she would giggle. Leah you are so cute and sure make us smile.  I had to take these pictures because she was just so cute. Here they are so enjoy.

The start of something new...

Leah has started to walk!!!!!She has started to stand up by holding on things and then she will let go and walk towards you. She is still a little off balance but she  is getting better at it. So no more being able to leave the room and she stay's put. I have heard that parents want their children to walk and then they wish it never happened. I guess we will have to wait and see if that is true...Here are some fun video's...she is getting better at it every day.

Rowley Christmas Party

On Christmas day we were pleasantly surprised when Justin's Brother and wife showed up with a really cute bundle surprise. They have been trying for a long time to have a baby and we were so excited when they showed up for the Rowley family Christmas party with their new son Jonas. He was born on Christmas Eve and the adoption papers were signed on Christmas Day. He weighed eight pounds and was really long.We are so happy for them. Here are some cute pictures of their cute family.

They dressed Jonas in this cute Christmas outfit and then put him in the stocking that the hospital put him in when he was born. It was fun to watch family member's as they showed up and and the look on their faces was priceless. We are all so happy for you guys.
Justin and I also got to meet our new niece Gallia that we haven't seen before. She belongs to Justin's brother Jeremy and his wife Amber. She was so cute and really remained me of Leah. She had lots of hair and just loved to snuggle. I think you tend to forget how really small they were right after they are born.

Here is a picture of Justin's family. We are all opening gifts from Justin's Parents. It was fun to watch all the little girls get their new doll beds that Justin's dad made. Justin's mom also made some stuffed animals for some of the little kids. It was fun spending time together. We are sorry that a few of Justin's brother's and their families could not make it. We sure miss them.
After we finished opening gifts it was time to eat. We had some good ham and turkey sandwiches. Leah loved the chocolate cookies... I had to take some cute pictures before cleaning them up. So enjoy...

Christmas Morning

This year we got to spend Christmas at Justin's Parent's house. We were excited because of our work schedule we don't get to spend a lot of time with Justin's family. So we started our drive down on Christmas eve. We arrived after a snowy drive...but mostly clear roads. That day was spent playing games, building puzzles and just visiting. Justin and his dad even had a sauna that night. It is a tradition in their family that all the men have a sauna on Christmas eve (Steams from Dad's mission to Finland).

On Christmas morning Leah was up like usual at 7:30am, so we got her a bottle so that she would be happy until we had breakfast that morning. Once Justin parents were up we all knelt down and payed before we went downstairs. It is also a family tradition that they pray together so they can remember what the real reason for christmas is (Something that I thought was really cool that Justin and I will keep for our own family tradition). Once we started to go downstairs Leah was really funny because she insited that she crawl down the stairs and giggled all the way down them. I think that she knew something was special that morning but really didnt know what it was.
Once we got down stairs Leah went for all of her toys and Stocking. It was really fun to watch her get excited about her new toys and try to figure out what is in her stocking. Leah was really excited when she found out that she had gotten a banana (her favorite thing in the whole world), suckers, yogurt snack bites (another one of her favorite things), bubble bath, and some new bath toys.

Here are some cute pictures of our Christmas morning and opening gifts...
