Grandparents Fire

A few weeks ago Justin and I received and email saying that Grandma and Grandpa's Rowley's  house had burned down the previous day. They had been burning weeds in the back yard when the wind caught a few embers and had started the roof of the house on fire. Grandma and Grandpa are fine and they even had some stranger that saved the cat. I have been waiting to post about this tragic event because I wanted to make sure that I got all the pictures of the clean up and the pictures of the house right after the house caught fire. Thank you to all that sent pictures to me since Justin and I were unable to make it out to help with the clean up.
This last summer Justin and I were able to go down and help put in a sprinkler system and some hard wood floors to help get the house fixed up for when Grandma and Grandpa can no longer live by themselves. This first picture is of the house when we went down to help fix it up.
This next few pictures is of the house when it was still smoking from the fire. The fire started on the roof and when the roof collapsed they pulled in the walls of the home.

The rest of the pictures is of the family clean up that happened a week after the fire. As you can see their is not much to the home.

This next few pictures is all that was left of the house. They found a few plates, glass figures and a bell. It is sad to see that this is all that is left of the house.
Grandma and Grandpa we are so glad that you are okay and we love you and are keeping you in our prayers.

Milo's Baptism

This last weekend we had the opportunity to go down to our nephew's baptism. We left after Justin got off of work on Friday and headed through Indian Canyon. While in the canyon it was so pretty with all the trees changing colors and so I decided that we had to stop to take some pictures. Well anyways I have to add those pictures to this post or Justin would kill me because I made him stop.

When we arrived at the house it was around 7pm and so it was time for dinner and PJ's. After dinner we were sitting around talking and Leah was very interested in this box on the kitchen. Finally Justin's dad put Leah in the box and pushed her around the kitchen. Leah thought that it was grand and a fun ride. Oh, she is so cute and her laugh was so funny it made us all smile.

The next morning we woke up early and drove to pleasant grove for the baptism. Once we got there I took some pictures of Jeremy and his son Milo. Milo was so excited to be baptized. I am so happy for him.

This next picture is of the family. Jeremy, Amber, Milo, Silas, and Baby on the way. What a fun family. Thanks again Milo for inviting us to the baptism and we were glad that we could make it. We love you guys.
These next pictures is of Leah at the lunch in after the Baptism. She just looked so cute, so I took the opportunity to take a picture of my cute girl. Love ya cute girl.

Dustin's Head Stone

Ashley called us up last week and informed us that when she had gone up to see Dustin's grave, she was suprised that Dustin's headstone was there. So, mom, dad, Jordan, Leah and myself decided that we needed to head up there and see it. So, I took some pictures so that all my sibling would also see it, being that they do not live here in Vernal. I tried to take some close up so that you could get the full picture of what it looks like. The Japanese signs on the head stone turned out great. Some of the pictures of them would not flip around to be right side up so sorry about that.

Jordan Homecoming Pic.

The night of the homecoming dance, mom and dad had a stake conference meeting so I had the opportunity to take pictures of Jordan and his date Kayla for homecoming. They were so cute and I really loved how they dressed to match. Jordan informed me that they had a blast at the before date which consisted of playing twister in a wooden box that the they had made. They then had a BBQ at mom and dad's home before getting dressed for the dance. Kayla and Jordan looked so cute, enjoy the pictures.
