Keyan is going to crawl

I just had to post these pictures of Keyan getting up on his knees. He has started to rock back and forth. I don't think it is going to be long before his is crawling. I am defiantly going to have to watch out because he will no longer be where I left him.

The Garden

This year Justin was kind enough to help my dad plant the garden this year. They woke up early on memorial day and started planing before it got to hot. Then after visiting Dustin's grave Justin and I headed back to mom and dad's to finish planing. Leah really wanted to be outside and help with the planting. Leah actually was really good help planting the potatoes. It kind of saved Dad and Justin from bending down so much. They would make the hole and have Leah drop the potato in the hole.
Here is Leah helping to plant the beans.
It was sure a fun day of planting and visiting with family. We cant wait until we can start eating some good stuff from the garden.

Remembering Dustin

On Memorial Day we all meet at Ashley's home at 9:30 in the morning for breakfast before going up to decorate Dustin's grave. All the flowers sure looked nice. Ashley even had some plants that she thought he would enjoy more than flowers.  Mom and Mari used some of the flowers to write out DAD for Ashley.
Here is a picture of Ashley and the Kids.
Here is a close up of the flowers
Mom, Dad, and Jordan at the grave.
 Jordan and Garrett!
Justin, Leah, and myself, Keyan was sleeping in my car in the background of the picture. So technically he is in the picture as well.
Here is Leah just sitting on a head stone waiting for us to be done.
It really was a nice day to go to the cemetery and visit Dustin's resting place. Dustin we know that you are in a better place, but we sure miss you.

Funny Moment

The other day I was talking to my Mom on the phone and working on the computer, while Justin and Leah were eating Lunch at the kitchen counter. After awhile Justin told me that he was leaving to go back to work and that Leah was still eating. Well after awhile I turned around to ask Leah if she was done and this is what I found. I could not believe that she was sleeping and that she had not fallen over. It really made me laugh and I was laughing so hard I could not even talk to mom on the phone. I just had to take this picture and send one to Justin or he would not believe it.

Strawberry Jam

I just love Strawberry Jam and any chance that I get, I have some. Expecially growing up we would have mom's strawberry jam on homemade bread made as toast. It is so good. so when I finally ran out this winter I knew that I needed to make some as soon as Strawberries came on. So when mom called me and told me that a flat at Jubilee was only 10.99 I had to get them. So the next day I made some jam and oh it is good. YUM!
If anyone wants to make homemade bread, I will bring the Jam!

3D Glasses

Lately we do not go to many movies but when Garrett and Katilynn gave me some movie tickets for my birthday, we decided to go to the new avenger's movie that just came out. When we got there we realized that it was in 3D, and I was nervous that Leah could not watch the movie. Then the ticket person gave me little kids 3D glasses. Leah thought it was great. Even after we got home from the movies she was wearing them. She didn't want to take them off  until she got into bed. Here is some cute pictures of Leah wearing the glasses.
 I love this next picture.

Fun at the park!

The other day I was home alone with the kids and we were wanting to do something fun. So we decided to go and have a picnic at the park. Grandma Millett and Courtnie were also able to join us.  Leah thought it was great. It was so nice to be outside just sit in the shade and enjoy the fresh air.  Here is a picture of the kids eating lunch.
After lunch Leah and Courtnie ran off to play in the park. Here is a couple of cute pictures of them.
We sure had fun. Thanks Grandma and Courtnie for coming and playing with us.

We dont know how he does it.

I had to share this picture of Keyan sleeping. He actually sleeps like this most nights. Justin and I think that it is pretty funny.  We really don't think that it look comfortable. What do you think?

HAPPY DAY!

HAPPY 19TH BIRTHDAY JORDAN!
Jordan's birthday just happened to land the weekend after the wedding so most of my siblings were still in town to celebrate with him. While everyone was out of the house taking a tour of the Quarry.  I was able to make and decorate Jordan's cake. If you know Jordan at all he loves cars, and so I decided to make him this race car cake. I think that it turned out pretty cool.

That night we had one of jordan's favorites...Pizza on the deck. Then after dinner we all sang happy birthday. After blowing out the candles Jordan perseeded to drive his cars on his cake. He thought it was awesome.

The After Wedding Party!!!

After the wedding we all headed over to the Church for the wedding lunch en. My sisters and I had gotten together a few months before the wedding and came up with these ideas for center pieces for the tables. I think they turned out pretty good. Here are the pictures.
